Attorney Contact After Virginia Car Accident
Ben Glass Law- I’d like to talk to you about runners. Now, not running, I run marathons, I run races, but runners.
These are people who when you are injured in an accident show up at the hospital, uninvited, unannounced and tell you that they're—sometimes they're from the hospital or they’ve got your discharge planning and what they're doing is they're trying to sign your case up for a lawyer.
I thought all of these folks had been eliminated in the world, but twice in the last couple of months, I had clients tell me that they were approached by runners. This is an act that is unethical in every state and illegal in most and why someone would sign up with someone who shows up at their hospital room unannounced is beyond me. Think about it!
What type of professional needs to send someone out to a hospital to visit someone who is recovering from injuries to force a lawyer on them? I looked up a couple of these people because the clients told me who they were, one was one of these big TV advertising firms and another was a guy whose reputation in the community is, he never ever goes to trial!
Look, if you’ve been injured in an accident, you may not need a lawyer. I guarantee you, you don’t need the lawyer that someone is sending a hospital, sending to your hospital room to sign up. And those are a couple of reasons why I wrote my book, The Truth about Lawyer Advertising. If you're in Virginia, I’d like to send that book to you for free. Just follow the link below and I’ll send you the truth about lawyer advertising, which is my consumer guide to help you find the right lawyer for your case no matter what your legal issue is. I hope to hear from you.
